Mabna Energy of the Persian Gulf Company, with the aim of increasing the reliability and flexibility of fuel gas supply to power plants and other consumers, has decided to implement a project for the construction of a new Pressure Reducing Station (PRS) and the connection of a new backup pipeline from a new national gas header (IGAT6) to this new PRS.
This project includes performing Basic Design, Extended Basic Design, and preparation of EPC tender documents for the new PRS; conducting feasibility studies and route selection for the new branch line connecting IGAT6 to the new pressure reducing station; defining the pipeline routing from the new PRS to the power plant; and designing the interconnections between the new and existing PRSs with the goal of enabling operational flexibility between Stations No. 4 and 6, as well as allowing feed reception switching between old and backup IGAT lines.
It also includes reviewing the existing metering station and implementing necessary modifications due to the addition of the new PRS unit.
Another part of this project involves the updating and As-Built preparation of layout drawings for all PRSs of Mabna Energy Company, including data collection, surveying, 3D modeling, and preparation of layout and piping drawings (such as Plot Plan, Piping Plan, Isometric Drawing, etc.) using software such as PDMS, Naviswork, and ArcGIS.
