Project Description:
Gachsaran Olefin Unit is located in Gachsaran Petrochemical Zone. The project is designed to produce 1,000,000 tons of ethylene per year. The required ethane feed is provided by the second Bidblond refinery with a capacity of 1,270,000 tons per year. Gachsaran Olefin Unit produces ethylene with a purity of at least 99.5% and hydrogen with a purity of at least 99.99%. The by-products of this unit are Flue Gas, C3 and light oil (gas oil). This unit consists of two parts, process units and storage tanks, which are divided into the following sections:
- Furnace
- Hot Section and production of dilute water vapor.
- LP and HP cracked gas compression, caustic wash, drying and spent caustic treatment.
- Ethylene purification and recovery.
- Ancillary services include fuel gas, ethylene cooling water, blow down, steam, etc.
- Ethylene, C3, ethane and Off Spec ethylene storage tanks.
- Caustic soda, sulfuric acid, methanol and wash oil tanks.
Scope of work:
- Complete basic engineering design based on the basic design and in accordance with the environmental and process conditions of the unit (Basic Engineering).
- Estimation and preparation of work description for detailed design services and purchase, installation and commissioning of the unit.
